Kaboom and Discover
Outdoor play is essential to a child’s physical, creative, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Thanks to Kaboom and Discover, our Head Start children have the chance to play outdoors at two new state-of-the-art playgrounds. Over 200 volunteers from these organizations came together to help build at our Noorda and Shriver Centers, with both organizations also funding these projects. We are so grateful for their support in reducing educational inequities and ensuring that all children in our community can build bright futures.

There are so many ways you can give back to your community.

Blue Sky
We are incredibly thankful to be a two-time recipient of one of Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky funding awards. Through this support, we were able to install solar at both our South Salt Lake facility and our Ray and Tye Noorda UCA Center in Kearns. Not only has this funding increased energy efficiency at these sites, but the amount saved goes where it’s needed most: our six essential programs that support families on their path to self-reliance.
